Our Team

Sam has been serving as the pastor since July 2026. He has a BA in Biblical Studies & Theology and an Mdiv in Theological Studies. He has a deep love for the Lord and a heart for the local church

His favourite verse is Isaiah 40:31

Dave and his wife Shellie have been faithfully attending Calvary Baptist Desbarats for 30 years. Dave is an integral part of the team and takes care of a lot of building and grounds upkeep. His favourite verse right now is Isaiah 46:4

Matt and his wife Ashton have been faithfully attending Calvary Baptist Desbarats for 15 years. Matthew is an integral part of the team and has served the church through preaching and youth ministry. His favourite verse is Jude 1:22-23
